David O'Dowda

If you don't know him yet, check him out!

I first heard his music watching the show "The Affair" and I think I went into a state of trance.

David O'Dowda is an experimental folk musician who also soundtracks movies and shows for an indie studio. Harmonies are central to his music and when you listen to him you will undoubtedly think of Justin Vernon from Bon Iver.

Make up your own judgment...

Color Therapy

If you don't know him yet, check him out!

Color Therapy composes, engineers and mixes his music out of a home studio and has done official remixes for Mogwai, Nils Frahm and Peter Broderick. An impressive list of feature collaborators such as The Album Leaf, Hammock, Ulrich Schnauss and Helios have contributed to his upcoming 13-song LP entitled "Mr. Wolf Is Dead".

Melodic splashes of light and darkness bleed together to form a lush genre-bending density with dusty loops, gritty textures and a sun-bleached analog sound that soars a million miles high.

If you like the mentioned artists or other ones like Tycho, Sigur Ros and Jon Hopkins you should enjoy this one too.

Fractures

If you don't know him yet, check him out!

It took me a little while, but I finally found out who's behind the name Fractures. I assumed it was a band, but it turned out to be one man, singer and multi-instrumentalist Mark Zito from Melbourne, Australia.

I  immediately fell in love with his music after listening to the songs "Ember" and "It's Alright", in which his voice and style can be compared to Justin Vernon's.
